We stopped in the right lane at a red light at the intersection with Kansas Avenue and Quebec Place. When the right turn arrow turned green, we started to turn onto Kansas Avenue. On Sunday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation and Adventist HealthCare Home Care Services will gather at Rio Lakefront in Gaithersburg for an untimed walk-or-wheel around the accessible lakeside path. This is not a race. Scooters, wheelchairs, walkers, strollers and every pace are welcome, and no one finishes last.
The Streets Market at 15th and Pennsylvania is open now. We were in last night and the checkout people were lamenting that the traffic has been a little slow, so far, so sending this in hopes of getting them a bit more publicity. No complaints with Safeway but it’s also nice to have another market in the neighborhood. They have a suggestion box for people to request items for them to stock.
