“Dear PoPville,

I just wanted to give a heads up to runners in northeast (specifically between 2nd-3rd and K-F) of a man that is verbally harassing/chasing runners. I witnessed a runner being harassed by this man Monday near Ebenezers coffee where he screamed at the man and jolted at him. I myself was harassed by him today near Indigo with him using profane language, etc. My boyfriend found him after I came home terrified and he called the police. The police came and reported that other people had called in this individual today as well but they can’t arrest because no crime was officially committed.”

From an email:

“Beginning May 25th, the restaurant will be open from morning through night serving Brunch all day. Breakfast for dinner? Sure. Dinner for breakfast? Why not? Dessert for lunch? Sure.

Of course the products are farm fresh and cocktails, wines, grocery items and plant based options are also available, all delivered pretty much contact-free through the restaurant’s take-out window on H Street or through GrubHub.

You can check out their menus here.”

Update from Hill Prince: “The landlord has apparently put the building for sale. The business is not currently for sale.”

Yikes thanks to Mike for sending this listing for Hill Prince, which could mean something or could mean nothing:

“Current use is a Restaurant /Bar. Space for expansion. Carriage house rear alley . Seller will hold some financing.”

It’s listed at $4,900,000.

From Granville Moore’s:

“First of all, we want to thank everyone for their support over the past few months – it has been overwhelming!
Unfortunately, unlike our sister restaurant, The Queen Vic, we have been unable to open in any capacity since March 17th because the Granville Moore’s menu is not take-out friendly.

We have spent the past month thinking of ideas about the best way to re-open to give our staff some work and to offer something that our neighborhood will love.

So although we are sad that we have to retire our Belgian Pub concept for now, we are super excited about a brand new concept that we plan to roll out for delivery and pick up on May 26th for a trial period. (more…)
