“The DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) announced the five recipients of its inaugural Streatery Assistance Grant Program. Launched on April 20, 2022, the program was developed by the BID to provide restaurants within its boundary with funds to assist in the creation of a new curbside dining space, or to help pay for improvements to an existing streatery or parklet. Looks like the old Drafthouse Comedy Theater (closed in 2020) across from Nino’s Bakery is undergoing some changes — both name and interior layout. Anyone know what’s going on with this?”
If February we learned that Sage Theatre would be coming here. Looks like they’re getting close. You can buy tickets for Drunk Shakespeare coming later this month.
