Balance Gym “last day at the Thomas Circle location will be Sunday, July 31st”, “actively working to find a new home”

1339 Green Ct NW (between 14th and Mass Ave, NW) via Balance Gym

Thanks to Tania and Michael for sharing from Balance Gym:

“We come to you with bittersweet news: the building at 1339 Green Court NW, the home of our Thomas Circle gym, has been sold. Like many other downtown businesses, we’ve struggled to regain our footing over the past two years, and regretfully, we now need to look for alternative locations.

This is not the end of Balance Gym! We are actively working to find a new home for both our BFF and gym family in the Thomas Circle area.

We have a good selection of locations to work with, and we are confident that we will be able to find the right location to match our needs. In the meantime, all memberships at our Thomas Circle location will be transferred to our Foggy Bottom location, and all of our other Balance Gyms remain open for training.

We are so grateful for every moment spent at our flagship location. From the friendships forged to the PRs hit, this building has housed some incredible feats of fitness. If the last twelve years have taught us anything, it is that the only constant is change, and you can’t level up your squat total if you don’t get a little uncomfortable. We can’t wait to see where the next twelve years take us, and we look forward to having you with us.

We are actively looking for alternative locations, and we will be making periodic updates as things progress. The situation is still fluid in regards to both the sale and looking for an alternative location, and we will do our best to keep everyone up to date if anything changes.

Our last day at the Thomas Circle location will be Sunday, July 31st.

For any cancellations, freezes, or to discuss options, email [email protected].

Per your contract, all Thomas Circle Memberships (including BFF) will be automatically transferred to our Foggy Bottom location, effective August 1, 2022.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
