A new beer garden, Valor Brewpub, opened up very quietly in Tenleytown at 42nd and Wisconsin. They have a truck set up in the parking lot next to the Bullfrog Bagel truck and have set up tables in front of the former bike store space (the bike store is still occupying the adjacent building). On Friday we posted a petition pleading for the “practice of live sandwich making to the DC Wegmans.” And soon it shall be – update from the fine folks at Wegmans:
“We are planning on having a made-to-order sub shop station at the Wisconsin Ave store. In fact, we have been planning on it for a bit but were unable to get equipment and fixtures in time for opening. Based on what our vendors have told us, we hope to have everything in place in the next few months. (more…)
