Speaking of fireworks, I always get lots of queries about this one as it’s starting. Good reminder from the Nationals:

“Since Nationals Park opened its gates in 2008, July 3rd fireworks have become a tradition here in the team’s Navy Yard home. Fans are invited to stay after the 6:05 p.m. game to enjoy this year’s edition of the Freedom Fireworks show!”

“On June 22, 2019, at approximately 9:50pm, patrol officers of the Fourth District received a 911 call regarding a shooting in the 600 block of Morton St NW and the 3400 block of Georgia Avenue NW.
