“On 6/26/19 at approximately 0002 hours, officers from the First District responded to the area of 5th and L Street SE for the sound of multiple gunshots. On scene, the officers located a vehicle that had been struck as well as a window of a nearby residence.
Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the gunfire. At this time, there is no usable lookout for suspects.
First District Detectives are actively investigating this incident. Should anyone have any information or video, please contact the First District Detectives office at (202) 299-2025, or the Metropolitan Police Department’s Command Information Center at (202) 727-9099.”
