The new Union Market location for Slice & Pie opened Today! Next Door Taste of Lucy opens Friday!!

“Slice & Pie, named the second-best slice shop in the United States by prestigious Italian organization 50Top Pizza for the second consecutive year, is set to open its second location on Wednesday, September 17 in the food hall at Union Market. The new location will offer the complete menu from Slice & Pie’s flagship location on 14th Street, including whole pies and slices of Roman-born master pizzaiolo Giulio Adriani’s New York and Detroit-style pizzas. Earlier this month in Naples, Italy, Slice & Pie was named the 83rd best pizzeria in the world, and the new location will open alongside Taste of Lucy, an offshoot of Adriani’s cocktail bar and restaurant, Lucy. Both concepts will be separated by a wall spanning the 800 square foot space, with Slice & Pie featured on the left and Taste of Lucy on the right. “The NoMa Business Improvement District (NoMa BID) is excited to announce that Tommy’s Tacos, a new fresh, fast-casual food and beverage concept created by acclaimed chef Thomas Stacy, has been selected as the official operator at Alethia Tanner Park.

When NoMa BID and its sister organization, the NoMa Parks Foundation, partnered with the District government to design and build Alethia Tanner Park, the plans included a purpose-built structure in the southwest corner of the park — designed specifically to host a future food and beverage operator that would bring convenient, healthy dining options to the community.
