“Beginning Saturday, April 11th, Desert 5 Spot DC is debuting a brand new brunch service. The new menu leans into the bar’s signature Western spirit–equal parts laid-back and a little unruly–and arrives just in time for spring.
The menu brings that energy to the table with brunch specials like Chicken & Waffles, a Smoked Brisket Breakfast Burrito, and Buttermilk Pancakes. There’s also another addition that feels destined to steal the spotlight: a fully self-serve, build-it-yourself Bloody Mary Bar
Because if there’s one universal truth, it’s that no two people take their Bloody Mary the same way, so Desert 5 Spot decided not to choose for you. Simply order a Bloody, and you’ll be handed a clean slate (no garnish, no rules) before heading over to the “Yeehaw Bloody Mary Bar,” where guests can build to their wildest specifications. Think of it as a buffet of garnishes with zero limits. Pile it high, keep it simple, or go completely off the rails. No minimums, no restrictions, no judgment.
On Sundays, the experience gets an added layer with the bar’s house bluegrass band, turning brunch into something closer to a day party–the kind that starts with coffee and ends on the dance floor.”
