“Our journey ends today. But, we are sure many of you will take a bit of Pansaari and it’s food with you on your individual journeys; and that is the only way we would want our story to continue. Thank you for all the love. We leave you with this lovely smile of our fearless leader!

then before I could look for a copy Mad magazine (which I hear is as great as ever w/ all the fodder given them by the Age of Trump; Matt Groenig now advising writers I think) for the 11 yr old away-at-camper in my life, my heart sunk at the sight of this horror! “Someone please tell me why the Dupont Circle fountain is currently blood red before I freak out…”

Might want to hang on to that bottled water for a few more days.

UPDATES:

From the National Park Service:

“There appears that there was a dye added to the Dupont Circle Fountain. It is almost filtered out now. Our crews will be draining the fountain today, then cleaning and refilling tomorrow to make sure it is clear of remnants.”
