Nando’s on 18th Street to briefly close in September (3rd to 12th) for a “Sprucing Up” then in December to “completely re-imagine the space”

1210 18th Street, NW

From Nando’s:

“About 10 years ago, we opened our second restaurant in the U.S., in a stately and historic building off Dupont Circle. [Ed. Note: Remember when this was a hardware store?!?] Now the time has come for us to give it some love!

From September 3rd to September 12th, Nando’s Dupont location (1210 18th Street, NW) will be closed, so we can make some important repairs as part of a two-stage renovation.

The good news:

When we re-open our Dupont restaurant, we will hold a Nando’s Dash and offer succulent PERi-PERi chicken and other entrees–for free–to our guests. Date and details to come!

(Our September renovation is Stage 1 of a larger redesign. In December, we will close the Dupont location again and completely re-imagine the space, with a new kitchen and renovated dining areas. Expect to see all the customary Nando’s touches–bespoke furniture, creative lighting and original art from contemporary South African artists and artisans. These changes will help us cater more imaginatively to our growing customer needs.)

We apologize for this temporary inconvenience, and hope you’ll get your PERi-PERi fix at one of the other Nando’s in DC: Chinatown, Woodley Park and Tenleytown, to name a few.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
