“We are under construction now in Cleveland Park! Building new locations in this post-pandemic era has proven remarkably slow for several reasons that are complex and outside of our control, so we’ve had to exercise a lot of patience! But it is very exciting to now have the ball in our court, so to speak, and work is underway – if all goes well we are now hoping for a grand opening early next year. (more…)

As we know, SakuSaku Flakerie, the mega popular Japanese-French fusion bakery in Cleveland Park, is opening up a location in Tenleytown. Apparently they’re trying to stay open in the Al Volo space for as long as they can. Yuri posted this Kickstarter campaign to help raise money for new equipment (mainly the oven, mixers, proofer, and espresso machine).” (more…)
