DC Fire and EMS quote tweeted Andrew Leyden: “The crash / overdose on Connecticut Avenue is now a fatality despite a huge effort by @dcfireems to save this victim. Likely overdose as car accident was a minor fender bender.”
then reported: “DC Fire and EMS transported 2 other patients from this tragic event.
Both suffering critical life threatening medical conditions. Approximately 25 personnel responded to this situation. The patients did not suffer injuries related to the accident. @DCPoliceDept investigating.”
J. reported just before 10pm: “1st and K NE. Man collapsed in the street, looks like a possible overdose. Nearby bikers protected him from traffic until EMS arrived. Man was alive and moving.
