“On Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at approximately 1:08 pm, MPD received a call for Sounds of gunshots in the area of 4th and Delafield Place NW. MPD responded and located shell casings in the 300 block of Delafield Pl NW. Anyone with information or video is asked to contact MPD at 202-727-9099 or text 50411.”

“Today at approximately 12:45 PM, two suspects approached a person walking in the 1600 block of C St SE. One suspect brandished a gun and the other demanded property. The suspects took some of the victim’s personal property before fleeing east on C St. The victim was uninjured. The suspects were described as (1) a black male, late teens-early 20s, thin build, 5’11”, wearing a black hoody and (2) a black male, 6′-6’2″, wearing a dark hoody and black pants with white stripes. Anyone who may have seen this or has relevant information is asked to please call in a tip to 202-727-9099 or anonymously text 50-411.”

“Nikki is not one to ask for help, she didn’t ask me to set this up. I WANTED to do it so she wouldn’t have to worry… And be able to recover with some peace of mind.
Last night (11/09/20) she was injured in a drive by shooting on her block. She was standing with her husband Andrew, their dog Ruby and a neighbor friend. They were discussing how in the recent weeks they have been noticing how the neighborhood was starting to get a little worse with the gunfire. As they were standing there, they heard lots of loud popping, they all fell to the ground and as Andrew looked up he saw a guy out the window of a car with a gun. (more…)
