I was with my 12-year-old daughter at Fleet Feet on Columbia Road (1841 Columbia Rd NW) around 3:30 pm yesterday (Sunday) when a group of 4 or 5 teens walked in and asked a few questions about shoes and other items — and then suddenly grabbed a bunch of stuff and ran out. It was jarring. (more…)

They’re good friends of mine and they are devastated by this, especially ahead of the busy Valentine weekend. “Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District seek the public’s assistance in locating suspects and a vehicle in reference to an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, February 5, 2023, in the 1800 block of T Street, Northwest.
At approximately 1:31 pm, the suspects approached the victims at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. (more…)
