“At 6 this morning we woke up to our humble little bakery that has served the beautiful neighborhood of Adams Morgan for almost a decade now, looking like this : glass shattered for as far as the eyes could see and all our Point of Sale equipment lying banged up on the floor after a very damaging break in. Sadly this has been happening to so many other small businesses in the area , night after night and for several weeks now . I am blessed though for the outpouring of love and dedication that I witnessed from the staff who arrived this morning to clean up the mess an intruder caused to our second home and resume their work like nothing happened . “Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, the cult favorite brand known for its made-from-scratch dairy and vegan flavors, today announces its expansion to the Washington, D.C. market.
