Wok and Roll Closed in Adams Morgan

2400 18th Street, NW

Thanks to Alex for sending the scuttlebutt about Wok and Roll’s lease ending possible ending in Adams Morgan: “I heard from our regular server there. Hope he’s wrong but I don’t know why he’d make it up.” They opened their 2nd location here back in 2011. Their original location is in Chinatown at 604 H Street, NW.

Another reader reported on Friday that she heard there was a dispute over rent:

“Came by for dinner at Wok and Roll in Adams Morgan and it’s closed! I was just there Tuesday night and never mentioned anything. I loved the place. Best cheap and cheerful dinner. But all the tables were gone inside and out. Not a great sign.”
