I live on a street in Ward 5 with no zone restrictions so random cars showing up is a regular occurrence that the block accepts as city life. But I wanted to mine the community here for thoughts about a vehicle that showed up and has been there for about a month now. It’s registered in Ward 4, about to expire. The damage looks like it was in a serious accident, it was abandoned on our block at 3:00am. But DPW says it doesn’t match the criteria for an abandoned vehicle because it’s not “un-driveable” (more…)
