“Dear PoPville,
My birthday fast approaches, and the biggest downside of a July birthday is the heat. I’d like to sit outside with my friends: Aslin, Wonderland Ballroom, Dacha, Red Derby, and Midlands are all places that have been spots in the past.
I’m open to suggestions. We’re too old (mid 30s) for the rambunctiousness that Dacha brings, and I’m hoping for more shade (or fans), with the ability to have friends ebb and flow as they need. Suggestions? I seem to be drawing a blank on options, and I’d like to try something new (but will return to Wonderland if all else fails).”
