I’m trying to do an IKEA kitchen renovation and the company says it no longer does kitchen installations in the DC-area and has no recommended partner installers in the region. All of the companies I’ve found on google say they no longer work in DC. Does anyone know of a company that will do an IKEA kitchen install, with removal of the old one?”

“Here’s a crazy DC story for you PoPville my old car has resurfaced in front of my building in Columbia Heights… after I donated it 5 yrs ago, when it died… in Baltimore! Same PSU decal, same dent in the bumper. Who knows if new owner follows you but if so, saying hi!”

Yesterday I witnessed a hit-and-run, where the driver of a small sedan sideswiped a motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was yelling at the driver trying to get them to stop, but the driver was not stopping, for at least the couple blocks I could see (eastbound on L St.). (more…)
