ICYMI: Over the summer we broke the news that Call Your Mother would be opening an Adams Morgan location. CYM coming soon signage went up on November 4th.
That was fast! We just learned about Giordano’s last week.
“Opening where the old mxdx used to be on 14th st (14th & F)”
Their new liquor license placard says:
“New Retailer’s Class “C” Restaurant with a Seating Capacity of 125 indoors, a Sidewalk Cafe with 24 Seats, and a Total Occupancy Load of 125. Alcohol Carry-out and Delivery Endorsement.”

“Dear PoPville,
Busboys & Poets now charges a flat $3 “Green Planet Fee” for all to-go and delivery orders to cover “tote bags, compostable containers, and biodegradable flatware.” That seems a little steep to me given that my nearest Busboys location usually omits the flatware (despite my specific request for it in my online order) and still packages items in regular ‘ole paper bags (not those reusable tote bags).
