“Dear PoPville,

A quick prop to the cops in the first district this weekend. My wife and I were home late on Saturday night and we heard a man and women yelling down in an alley. We’re fairly high up in a large building and the couple were obscured in shadows so we couldn’t see them, but we heard the woman screaming like she was in pain and saying “stop”, so we called 911. To our astonishment, it took less than a minute for the first cop to arrive. The police acted quickly and professionally and calmly diffused the situation.

An examination of the vehicle the suspects were driving revealed a large quantity of Crack.

“Dear PoPville,

Just wanted to give a quick update on the peeping tom incident from last month. I saw the guy again last night and immediately called the cops. They came by, took a report, and within 30 minutes came by again to tell me they caught him.

So props to the cops and quick reminder that even if it feels silly to call something like this is in, in a city where there are drugs and homicides happening with such frequency, please still do. You don’t know what people’s intentions are and it lets cops know where they may need to increase their patrol.”
