Meet DC Brau’s Joint Resolution, a new Hazy IPA, will replace the Citizen

“DC Brau is amending its current flagship line-up with Joint Resolution, a new Hazy IPA, which will replace its award-winning Citizen Belgian-style Ale this March. Fans of the golden domed can will see the beer return as a seasonal offering, scheduled for early Fall 2020.

“We’ve seen a significant shift in the palates of our consumer over the past eight years, and feel like it’s a good time to freshen up our core, year-round offerings with a Hazy IPA,” says CEO & co-founder of DC Brau Brandon Skall. “The Citizen remains a favorite style of ours, and we look forward to bringing it back as a seasonal just in time for what will surely be an interesting election season.”

Joint Resolution is a Hazy India Pale Ale with a drinkable 5.5% ABV and approachable level of bitterness incorporating Canadian Pale 2-row, White Wheat, Flaked Oats, Carafoam and Acidulated malts, and a mix of hops including Michigan Copper and Chinook varieties among others. (more…)

Dacha Navy Yard Now Aiming to Open “mid-March!”

“Dacha will be opening their restaurant by mid-March!

They will begin construction on the outside terrace beginning later this week. This will involve removing the benches and chairs that are directly in front of their space. However, they will be re-opening the space in April will new seating, lights, and décor.”

Each day, we will feature a few of our favorite dishes from year one along with a different vintage beer, beginning with a 2013 on Monday through a 2019 on Sunday! These are the most epically exciting beers we’ve been able to stash away since we opened! Additionally, we will extend the cellar list to 100 bottles ~ offering each at half price all week long!

Be sure to join us Sunday, 2/10 for our official Anniversary Party. We will provide some of our favorite snacks from the past 5 years and all draft beers will be sold at $6 (even leftover epic vintage options).
