Electric Cool-Aid Beer Garden Posts Liquor License in Shaw

6th and Rhode Island Ave, NW

Back in October we broke the news that a new beer garden was coming to the former Mr. P’s Ribs lot on Rhode Island. Their Facebook about section is straight to the point:

“Frozens and canned beer. You know you wanna.”

The placard for Electric Cool-Aid says:

“A new Retailer’s Class C Tavern with an outdoor Beer Garden. Seating Capacity of 8 on the inside of the premises. Seating capacity of 122 and standing capacity of 103 in the outdoor Beer Garden. Total Occupancy Load of entire establishment is 225. License will include an Entertainment Endorsement for the outdoor Summer Garden only.”

Hours being applied for are listed as: “Sunday through Thursday 11am – 2am, Friday and Saturday 11am – 3am”

STAY TUNED.
