Join us at ChurchKey on Saturday, October 26th, as we celebrate 15 years of serving the rarest and most delicious craft beers in Washington, DC! On this very special day, we’ll feature 5 new anniversary collaborations alongside 20 more rare brews from our friends around the world!

We’re especially honored to have brewed collaborations for this celebration with Schilling, Monkish, Oxbow, Sierra Nevada and The Veil. All five collabs will be on draft, but don’t miss your chance to take these beers home as well; we’ll have cans of Monkish 100 Miles & Running and Bluejacket + Schilling A Look At Tomorrow, along with bottles of Oxbow CK15 and The Veil CKXV. “Our sportsbook provider has chosen to cease operations in Washington, D.C., leading us to temporarily suspend sports betting as we search for a new partner. Rest assured, we will honor all existing bets and pay out any winning wagers. In the meantime, Over-Under Sports Bar and Rooftop Lounge remains fully operational, showcasing all football games and more in a relaxed setting in the heart of the Nation’s Capital. Breaking and DAGGER: After Almost a Decade, Slash Run Closing in Petworth

Ed. Note: Slash Run opened with great fanfare back on July 16, 2015. In 2018 it was sold to manager Christine Lilyea. Prior to Slash Run this space was home to J ‘n G Tavern and of course El Limeno and briefly La Joya Steakhouse. Updates when we learn what becomes of the space.

“Juneberry Garage: A New Gathering Place Opens Its Doors

Get ready to sip, snack, and socialize at Juneberry Garage, the latest addition to the historic Walter Reed campus. Partners Josh Saltzman, Chris Powers, Robin Webb, Trent Allen, Jeremy Riley and Gladys Kamau are hard at work transforming the historic auto body shop into a bar and restaurant. But in the meantime, they’ve set up shop to serve seasonal snacks and beverages on the patio from a vintage airstream trailer. Come enjoy the fall weather with some hot cider and eats, as well as a variety of draft beers and cocktails.

Located at 6810 Cameron Drive, Juneberry Garage is the perfect pit stop after a trip to the Whole Foods or a ride through Rock Creek Park. The expansive patio will also be a great place for dogs to bring their owners after visits to the adjacent dog park. This initial offering provides a taste of what’s to come as the restaurant prepares to unveil its full kitchen and bar next year, designed by CORE architecture + design.

Pleasant Neighborhood of Washington DC where enthusiasts and bartenders can come together to celebrate and explore the world of craft cocktail and bartending along the Mt. Pleasant Street Corridor that features an eclectic mix of restaurants and bars reflecting the neighborhood’s diverse and vibrant character. This event is an opportunity for the businesses and residents of one of Washington DC’s most unique neighborhoods to come together, network, share knowledge, and to give back to the neighborhood and community that supports us. The main goal of this event is to make improvements in the restoration and preservation of Mount Pleasant by promoting our dynamic cocktail and beverage scene and draw more traffic to the whole commercial corridor.
