Located right across the street from Solly’s at 1935 11th Street NW Suite 2 is Fly Betty Boutique. I spoke with owner Melfi Penn this past weekend. She describes the very small boutique (although she may be moving to bigger quarters soon) as a “shop for the everyday woman”. It mostly features clothing, handbags, accessories and skin care. Is there a correlation between neighborhoods and Macs versus PCs. I feel like I have read this somewhere. Maybe in some NYC neighborhoods. At any rate at Columbia Heights Coffee this Sat. there were five folks with laptops and 4 out of 5 Macs. Any meaning here?


Could you imagine having to carry your trash cans down a flight of stairs?


I got a haircut today.  Just a trim but a haircut nonetheless.  At the end of the haircut the lady who cut my hair starting giving me a back massage.  Like for 5 minutes.  That’s weird right?


I think the graphic representation of someone climbing a fence is brilliant. Personally, that’s not my fence climbing style but I get the message anyway.
