“Pitango Gelato, known for artisanal Italian gelato in the Washington, DC region is excited to announce a new gelato and coffee shop along DC’s 14th Street corridor. The new location is due to open at 1802 14th Street, NW in Summer 2025, and will be Pitango’s eighth location in the DC, Maryland, Virginia and Baltimore area. Patrons will be able to enjoy coffee, Italian baked goods and fresh, hand-spun, gelato made with high quality, organic ingredients. The 1,027 square foot space, designed by EastWing Architects will also feature indoor seating for up to 10 guests. (more…)

“Scenic Driving Days on Beach Drive”

“Beach Drive is a scenic route through Rock Creek Park, and it is especially beautiful during the spring when trees are blooming. To give more people the opportunity to enjoy these seasonal views, the park will open the entire length of Beach Drive to motor vehicles for one day this spring. (more…)
