Many of your readers were so kind to support native Washingtonian Kimmy Clark’s gofundme page as she battled cancer this past seven months. I’m very sad to let you know that Kimmy passed away peacefully this past Friday leaving behind her husband Tim and their two children, ages four and eight. Her obituary can be found here. Many folks have asked how they can support their family during this difficult time. We have been pointing them to this Go Fund Me page. Thank you for your continued support of this family.”

“NWS reports very poor air quality today, which may be unhealthy for people with heart or lung disease, older adults, children and teens. Reduced visibility is expected from 3-6PM. Wearing a mask may help limit irritation for those suffering from respiratory illnesses.
