From a press release:

“Too many chefs in the kitchen,” and “Don’t work with family,” are two warnings Chef Jazmine and Chef Trinna Moore decided not to heed when this mother-daughter team started District Boards. The newest addition to miXt Food Hall, this locally-sourced charcuterie board company is all about connection. Serving up charcuterie boards for every palate, diet, and size, the DC locals behind District Boards are promising to make gathering effortless.

Chef Jazmine Moore grew up in the restaurant business thanks to Co-Owner and mom, Chef Trinna Moore. “I started going to restaurant opening parties for my mom’s places when I was five years old. Of course I went to culinary school!” says Chef Jazmine. Trinna was a vegan restaurateur, “before it was cool,” says Jazmine, “opening places all around the country.” Having worked in the industry her entire life, Jazmine opened her own catering company in 2017. Out of that company, District Boards formed and she asked mom to join.

We realized there was a need for a more effortless gathering experience. “People are going to parties with chips and salsa and a six-pack. For leff effort, why not bring a chef-curated charcuterie board?” asks Chef Trinna. In addition to their variety of boards including vegan, paleo, pescatarian and gluten-free options, District Board serves up mocktails ready to add to or be enjoyed as is. You can also grab an “add-on” like their best-selling vegan artichoke dip or caviar.
