On Sunday 9/1 around 4pm I was walking my dog down Sherrill Drive, a quiet, paved road that connects 16th Street to Beach Drive in the northern park of Rock Creek Park near Brightwood/Takoma. Wanted to share some pictures of a dangerous hole on H St NE near the intersection with 3rd st ne as you start to go over the bridge. It has been there 3 months, my husband and I have seen two cars destroy their axle in it. Multiple 311 complaints have been filed. (more…)
