Nagomi Izakaya has opened in the former TakEatEasy space on M Street. Their website says:

“What is an Izakaya “居酒屋” ?

An izakaya is a type of Japanese drinking establishment that serves food to accompany the drinks. It serves as a gathering place for good drinks, good food and good times.

We are a family owned and operated restaurant located in the heart of Washington, D.C. We chose the izakaya concept because it is something we are familiar with. The idea of having a place to go to unwind after work and grab good drinks and great food is something we enjoy and wanted to bring to the neighborhood. We hope to see you soon!

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.
