  • This is a bluegrass show I take it?

  • Is this the same place in MtP that people were flipping out about a few years ago, for not having the proper permits to hold private parties in the middle of a residential neighborhood? Hopefully they’ve gotten things in order, because there aren’t enough legal BYOB places in DC.

    • I don’t think so. The other place (Hush House?) was somewhere around 17th and Kenyon/Kilbourne.

Oakwood Terrace is a beautiful street (but I never knew this house was called the Scooby Doo Mansion!)

  • The Scooby Doo Mansion hosts a lot of BYOB blue grass shows and other similar events followed by dance parties. They’re always a great time!

    • And like that other place, they have all of the necessary permits and licenses to hold parties and ticketed events like this.
