Together with the Washington Regional Alcohol Program (WRAP) SoberRide initiative, AT&T is proud to provide free taxi rides (up to $30) to anyone over 21 in the greater Washington, DC area nightly from 10pm until 6am starting tomorrow, December 14th, through New Year’s Day.
AT&T customers can call #WRAP to get a safe, free ride home, while others can dial 800-200-8294 (TAXI).
For those who’ve had difficultly getting a cab through the SoberRide program – here’s another option from Drivers Incorporated:

We have this debate every year but has anyone actually gotten a free taxi ride from one of these programs?
I have not and do not know of anyone else that has.
like every other time i go out and drink, i just walk or hop on the bus to get home.

I am on the same page, have never gotten a free ride, and don’t know anyone else who has either.
I used it about a half-dozen times last year – after getting drinks after work at the M Bar at M & NH Ave NW. – maybe because they were picking up at a hotel I never had a problem – Although, they were never thrilled to be schlepping me to H/19th NE.
Having lived here for 20 years…. good luck ever getting one of these.
