“Hey PoPville, just ran into Joseph at Little Havana on 14th. Said they’re shooting for an 8/10 opening, and they’ll have a menu featuring inspiration from Cuba’s Chinese expat community, as well as cabano sandwich-inspired egg rolls.”
Update from Little Havana’s PR:
“Little Havana’s menu includes traditional Cuban dishes and dishes with a twist, like Cubano egg rolls (and they’re delicious).”

Back in March we learned that Mason Dixie Biscuit Co. was closing on Bladensburg Road and moving to a new location. My sources now say that this will be in Shaw!! I give this scuttlebutt an 88% accuracy rating. Stay tuned for their “signature fried chicken” and much more. God willing.

Yesterday we learned that the Uprising Muffin Company was closing their brick and mortar location outside the Shaw metro at the end of the month. I have now learned from a very good source (92% accuracy rating) that an &pizza will be taking over the space. If true – good news or bad news?
