Out of curiosity, has anyone successfully received a “leftover” vaccine? If so what was the scenario?

Oh no, we’ve been loving these every year since at least 2008. Thanks to all who messaged that they haven’t gone up this year (they are usually up by now.) Maybe they are concerned with accessing people’s units due to the virus? Fingers crossed they are able to figure out a way to put them up before the New Year!!

John actually sent on Friday but feels fitting for a Monday morning: “This was the second sign like this in the bike line on First street SE near the stadium. Somebody’s got jokes.”

Thanks to Elaine for sending from Florida Avenue, NE near Union Market. Someone (The Pug?) shared this is on twitter last week and I think the sign originally had a typo that said “Fatten that curve”. Either way, oof.

Unfortunately, given the circumstances (trying to stay warm/alive, 30-foot distance between us, etc) I wasn’t able to break the ice with him – pun intended. I’m hoping I can make contact with him and see how accurate my Good Guy radar is. (more…)
