“Agents from the Force Investigation Team of the Metropolitan Police Department’s (MPD) Internal Affairs Bureau are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred in the 300 block of Florida Avenue, Northeast.

“Dear PoPville,

On Friday, January 10th, an Amazon delivery driver entered a lobby in the 3600 block of Connecticut Avenue, NW, a cooperative residential building. Shortly after, a second Amazon driver followed, taking advantage of the open door. Once the packages were delivered, the second driver lingered behind and texted an accomplice waiting in a car outside. The accomplice then entered the lobby, and together, the pair stole over 10 packages, loading them into the car before fleeing the scene.
