I am part of a 7-unit condo building serviced by Republic Services for trash and recycling pick-up. We just learned that Republic Services is increasing our monthly rate over 3x (from $179 to $613). This is not resulting in any increase in services but they are claiming “The prior owner [Tenleytown Trash] received major discounts at the dump sites which Republic Services do not.”
Such a large rate hike is absolutely absurd and not something our condo fees can absorb. (more…)
