I saw this guy Sunday night and can’t really get it out of my mind and want to know if others saw him/if this is a repeat offender… I was in my car, making a left onto 14th street from Irving, directly across from the CH metro, when I glanced out the driver’s side window and saw a completely naked man jogging down the sidewalk and turning onto Irving. Not only was he naked, but he was totally hairless and covered (as in, all over) in tattoos. The most disturbing part was that literally nobody else on the crowded sidewalk seemed to notice him and/or care. Was I hallucinating?”
Back in 2009 – Danny Harris did a People’s District post on Georges de Paris. There’s a really interesting obituary in the Post:
“But Mr. de Paris, as he fashioned himself, was neither born Georges nor was he from Paris. He was Georgios Christopoulos of Kalamata, Greece, and he came to the United States about 1960 after a stint in the Greek navy and tailoring apprenticeships in Germany and France.
Mr. de Paris died Sept. 13 at a hospice center in Arlington, Va.”

Alright serial fans – the New York Times reports on season two:
“The next season of the hugely successful podcast “Serial” will focus on the case of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, the Army soldier who went missing from his base while deployed in Afghanistan in 2009 and held prisoner by the Taliban, a person familiar with the project said.”
