“Dear PoPville,

I was approached yesterday (Monday) around 4:30pm at 17th and P street with the same scam you’ve reported on before – A young guy saying “my wife is over there, we live in that tan building, just moved here a few days ago and are GW law students….locked our keys, phones, wallet and everything in the car…..just $45 short to call a locksmith…willing to give collateral if you help me out” (more…)

“Never thought I’d have to post this, but here we are. No matter what, @luckybardc
will always be ours.” (more…)

UPDATE from BrineOysterDC:

“Here’s what’s up (we share the same owners as Russia House!):
Most RH staff relocated during the pandemic, so they’ve been restaffing up and almost there! RH completed an entire remodel including a new bar, kitchen, bathrooms, & decor, & shooting to open early January!

“Dear PoPville,

Do you know what’s the deal with Russia House? They say they are still closed because of the pandemic. (more…)
