“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District have announced an arrest in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred in the 1500 block of 22nd Street, Northwest on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at approximately 3:00 am.

While attempting to intervene in a verbal dispute, the victim was shot by an unknown suspect. The suspect fled in an unknown direction. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

On Monday, November 7, 2016, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 24-year-old Anthony Willie Robinson, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun). CCN: 16-175-185”
