As late December has come and gone and many, many folks have inquired what’s up with the Streets Market coming to the former Metro K space. The folks from Streets Market tell me they are now on track for: “a late Jan / early Feb opening. Almost done on the inside.”
We should have a firmer date in the next couple of weeks. STAY TUNED.

Thanks to Jenna (and all) who sent word about Ramenville Adams Morgan getting a new Ramen shop. Isshin Ramen just opened in October and now has more company (not to mention the relatively old school Sakuramen (and don’t forget soba noodles and lots more are coming down the block too.) Akira Ramen & Izakaya has soft opened (already?) in the former North Sea space, which closed over the summer. You can see a menu for the Rockville location of Akira Ramen & Izakaya restaurant here.

is the same thing I ate last year. What can I say, I’m a creature of habit – though I did also have a top notch meal at Tail Up Goat this year. Anyway back to this year’s honor – the Bronx Pastrami sandwich reins supreme again – congratulations to So’s Your Mom once again. Forever and always.
