“Dear PoPville,
I’ve created a Go Fund me campaign for the six long-time staffers summarily dismissed without severance late last month when Cathedral Care Pharmacy finally closed its doors after 96 years of service to the communities of Woodley, Cleveland and North Cleveland Park.

“New heights is not closing permanently. They covered the bottom floor to hide the liquor while closed but plan to reopen in October. Unsure why the phone is disconnected. Spoke directly with the owner.”
Joanna reports: “Will miss their incredible gin selection!”
Unfortunately New Heights Restaurant’s phone has been disconnected. New Heights opened in 1986. Their website says:
“New Heights is a perennial, classy sight to behold anytime of year ….. especially in springtime when the lovely lines, colors and wood tones of the Gin Joint fold outside into the intimate, Patio-on-Calvert with its verdant, colorful plantings. (more…)
