Just wanted to share what happened to me tonight (Thursday.) I was on Florida Ave and decided to walk home around 8pm. While I was on Rhode Island Ave near the gas station that has the Dunkin attached to it and waiting to cross the street, a man approached me and spit in my face. (more…)

“After nine months under contract (financing is HARD!!), we closed on our property at 90 O street NW – the old Kearney Grocery store!

“We’re heartbroken to reveal that a 15-month struggle to find common ground with our landlord will end with us closing our flagship restaurant at 300 Florida Ave NW on Sunday, July 18th, which is the week of our five year anniversary. While this has been a difficult decision we’re confident that it’s the best long-term decision for our business and our family of team members.
