“At approximately 2353 hours last night, a complainant reported to MPD units that the driver of an unknown black sedan fired a gunshot at their vehicle while they were traveling south in the 3rd Street Tunnel at Massachusetts Ave NW. The complainant was not injured, but their vehicle was stuck by a single bullet. The complainant believes this may be related to the other vehicle being offended by their driving.

Owner Kent “Kenny” Gilmore has suffered several strokes and can no longer continue maintaining the deli. Additionally, COVID significantly impacted sales at the deli since his beloved Howard University and Benjamin Banneker High School Faculty and Students were not physically present to create foot traffic into the deli. “Dear PoPville,

The jersey barriers in front of CVS at Georgia and New Hampshire were removed this morning [Saturday]. Do you have any knowledge of why? That sidewalk didn’t stop being too narrow to social distance and the pandemic remains raging so it seems premature at best.”

Cóilín reports: “I walked by Napoli this morning and it looks like they have abruptly closed up shop.”
