The Art Room is a pottery painting studio, art gallery, and creative space. Growing up, I loved making art with my mom. We designated a little space in our basement “the art room,” so this space is my attempt to elevate and share her love and vision for creativity. A reader wrote after our Truxton Inn closing post:

“There was a Circle there at North Cap. and Fl. Ave., called Truxton Circle! Not sure of the date when they took it out, but for years later my mother and aunt would always call that area Truxton Circle!”
