A question for you and the readership: does anyone know when payment for the parking meters around Nat stadium/Navy yard goes into effect on Sunday games? Do I need to pay to park on the streets if I am in Navy Yard at 8 AM on a Sunday game day, for example?”

“ROCKLANDS has a pop up throughout the baseball season at across from Nats Park. We are on the corner of 1st and N Street – caddy corner from the main gate.
The ROCKLANDS BBQ & Beer Pop up is in the former Aslin lot.
ROCKLANDS will be out there serving 90 minutes prior to most home games through second inning and we will also serve after the game on the weekends.
The variety of beer served is Devils Backbone Special “Nats” branded Earned Run Ale, Right Proper Raised By Wolves (and others), Bud, Bud Light, Stella Artois, and Shock Top. ROCKLANDS will offer a variety of canned beers throughout the summer.”

“Tonight shortly before 7pm, MPD was alerted to a shooting that occurred in the 1300 block of First Street, SW. We were able to locate an adult male that was suffering from gun shot wounds. He was alert, conscious and breathing. He was subsequently transported to a hospital for treatment.
We are asking if anyone has any information related to this shooting you contact MPD on 202-727-9099 or text at 50411.”

For select series in the 2019 season, All-Purpose will pit local brews from DC Brau against a brewery from the city of the visiting team in a friendly competition at the restaurant before and after the games.
The first series is March 28 – 31 when the Nationals face the Mets and All-Purpose Capitol Riverfront will feature DC Brau’s Joint Resolution and Full Count as well as New York-based SingleCut Beersmith’s Weird & Gilly IPA and Plaintop Pilsner.
All-Purpose in Capitol Riverfront will now be open Monday – Friday at 5pm and will open two hours before the first pitch for all weekday home games”
