17th and I Street, NW

Updates from EatDC and Penn Quarter Living: “It’s going to be a wine & spirits shop. UK based.” Berry Bros. & Rudd, “Britain’s original wine and spirits merchant”. Stay tuned for an opening date.

Thanks to D. for sending the signage at the old Foxtrot space:

“Something exciting is coming soon…” (more…)

3124 M Street, NW previously home to Atmos Sneakers

“Thoughtfully considered luggage and travel pieces – designed with intention, crafted with care, and made to last. B Corp Certified.”

Mono’s website says:

“We believe in having fewer but better things. That’s why we decided from the outset that every single part we use matters, and every little detail counts. We sourced the highest quality parts and materials from around the world, and if we couldn’t find a component that met our standards, we worked with industry experts to make it ourselves.”

3222 M Street, NW most recently briefly home to a Lululemon while they were remodeling their other space

Yesterday we learned that DC’s sole remaining J.Crew had “temporarily closed”, turns out it was only a temporary closure! I’m told:

“J Crew is moving to 3077 M — the old Brooks Brothers/Showfields space. They signed the lease with Eastbanc last year. It should open shortly so it is truly a temporary close.”

Stay tuned for an opening date.
