“Dear PoPville,

Not sure how long this change has been in effect but I’ve seen at least two drivers who didn’t know that Ontario Rd NW in Adams Morgan switched to one way. Big clue for those folks must’ve the missing traffic light signal facing that direction as they waited – and waited – to make a left turn onto Columbia, but by that point they were committed.”

UPDATE from Johnny Pistolas PR:

“The main floor will be rebranded as Mi Pana, bringing a fresh new dining and nightlife concept to Adams Morgan.

The second floor will remain Johnny Pistolas, continuing to serve its LA-inspired taqueria-style food, tequila bar, and nightlife atmosphere.

The mezzanine will become the Riff Raff Room, an intimate speakeasy-style cocktail lounge featuring Schotts’ award-winning cocktails and elevated tapas.

The top floor will stay a dedicated party and event space, preserving Johnny Pistolas’ long-standing reputation for nightlife and private events in Adams Morgan.

On September 19th, we’ll launch the new concept with live entertainment, a champagne toast, and a performance by Mi Pana.” (more…)

Remember when folks did that to support essential workers during covid lock downs? Anyone else hearing this?
