Just noticed this sign on the side of the Washington Family Church National Cathedral:
A year ago the Real Deal reported:
“A historic church in Washington, D.C.’s Adams Morgan neighborhood is about to be baptized by a condominium development.”
In November 2024 Urbanturf reported:
“As part of a due diligence study, Dila Development has filed a preliminary concept with DC’s Historic Preservation Board for a new nine-story condominium building just south of the Unification Church at 1610 Columbia Road NW (map). The plans for the new building, designed by Axis Architects, appear to be part of bigger plans for the church property.”
Anyone know the current status?
