Two things I never joke about: Avocados and Trader Joe’s so you know I’m serious…

“the forthcoming Trader Joe’s in Brookland has Avocados. It’s the first food we’ve seen and bodes well for the estimated mid may opening.”
Stay tuned for a confirmed opening date, well I guess it can take avocados a while to ripen, anyway – STAY TUNED.

“The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a special police officer for assaulting a fellow employee with a gun at a grocery store in Northwest.
On Saturday, April 19, 2025, at approximately 12:35 p.m., the suspect and the victim were both working at a grocery store in the 1800 block of Wisconsin Avenue, Northwest. Well that was exhausting. HOWEVER, unlike the Ellwood Thompson’s saga, at least their actually opening.
